It was founded by Slobodan Damnjanović – TRTA. The QLT radio was an FM station that broadcast only side rock, blues and jazz music. He quickly became heard throughout the city because he played good and quality music. The vine had enough years and experience in knowing these genres in music, so he knew what was right and good quality music. Prior to the opening of the Kult Radio, he was the owner of the “SUCKS” cafe that he founded in 1989. It was the first cafe and night club in the city. There he played the same kind of music he played afterwards on the QLT radio.
