About The Station:
AM LIBERTAD is a station belonging to the Solidarity Community Libertad Asociación Civil (Legal Entity Nº 285/2002), an institution that is sponsored by Estudio Integral ZG & Asociados.
The Solidarity Community Libertad Civil Association, is an NGO born in a neighborhood of Rosario on the initiative of the residents of the Barrio Libertad turned into an organization dedicated to broadcasting.
It is part of the World Association of Community Radio Broadcasters, is also a member of ARBIA (Association of Broadcasters of Buenos Aires and the Interior of the Country), AMECO (Association of Communication Media of the Province of Santa Fe), and AATECO (Argentine Association of Community Broadcasters) and SMEs). The president of this NGO is Mrs. Beatriz Ana Brouwer and among its members is Mr. Juan B. Castagnino, a professional with an important career as a Bachelor of Political Science and International Relations, a professor at the Catholic University of Argentina and the Salvadorian University, Member of the OAS International Commission in Nicaragua from 1990 to 1991, he has also participated as an observer of the OAS in the elections in Paraguay and was a member of the UN mission in East Timor (1999).
This association also has among its board of directors the Lic. Alicia Fernández, recognized in 2005 as “Distinguished Citizen of the City of Rosario”, who has an important career as a journalist. She was the first sports journalist to remember Rosario’s press, she has also studied the journalism technique at the Higher Institute of Journalism and the journalism degree at the National University of Rosario being the pedagogical head of the NGO’s “Radio Workshop” which has about 50 students.
The Solidarity Community Libertad Civil Association, is recognized by Resolution No. 285/2002.
The association was duly registered in the Register of Private Collective Organizations of COMFER under File No. 1457/2004, subsequently requesting the opening of a public tender for the installation of a new station in the city of Rosario.
Likewise, the Solidarity Community Libertad, through Act No. 18034/05, complied with Resolution COMFER 1572/05 of “Recognition and Ordering of the Radioelectric Spectrum – Operational Issuer Census under Ownership of Non-Commercial Legal Entities.”
In this way AM LIBERTAD is the fifth AM radio station in the city of Rosario along with LT2 Radiodos, LT 3 The voice of our people, LT 8 Radio Rosario and LRA 5 National Radio.
The station has established cultural exchange agreements with RNE-REE National Radio of Spain, Vatican Radio and as a member of ARBIA with Radio Nacional Argentina.
