TANGA KUNANI FM RADIO broadcasting at 88.5 from Tanga city was officially launched in July 2014.
Apart from general broadcasting; we specifically cater for advertising, educational and information
needs of population of where we are available.

So far we have a listenership of over 2 million people in our coverage area. All districts in Tanga are covered.
We are also available in some parts of Manyara region, Morogoro, and Pwani regions.

The programming format is designed to cater for listeners of different age ranges, with consistence in
Local and International news, entertainment, music, and sports programs.

We proud our self for being the most liked and listened radio station in Tanga. The Listenership has
spread from Mnazi, in Maramba, all the way to Sakura and Mkwaja villages in Pangani, Songe In Kilindi,
up to Bumbuli and Mtae in Lushoto.

TK FM has a work force of 34 employees, inclusive of general broadcasting staff, and support staff.
They are all local staff which gives us the advantage of local area knowledge, hence good ability to provide
radio programs which suits most of our listeners.

We designed our programs specifically to suit our listeners, and we always seek advise on new
materials that can be included on our program segment to match the current need for information.
Our radio runs 24 hours non-stop.
