It goes on air with new programming beginning on February 1, 2010, from 10am-8pm.
DZUP was built up in 1957 and was overseen by the UP College of Engineering and the UP College of Arts and Sciences. Amid the First Quarter Storm in 1973, the DZUP transmitter was crushed by government powers. Under the administration of the UP College of Mass Communication, DZUP was resuscitated in the 1980s.
